FROM THE BACK OF THE BOOK:
Piper Macintosh has indulged her eccentric great-aunt for as long as she can remember. But now eighty-seven-year-old Hannah -- who fancies herself a witch -- has gone too far. She's sold her historic Cape Cod house to a Tennessean -- and claims he's THE man for her niece. Piper doesn't think so. And when reclusive Clate Jackson catches her trespassing, digging valerian root for one of Hannah's strange potions, she KNOWS Hannah's way off the mark this time.
Nashville tycoon Clate Jackson needs an escape from all the pressures back home. He's come to the windswept Cape to think -- and to forget ... not to get involved with the locals. Yet he reluctantly teams up with Piper in a dangerous scheme to unearth buried treasure, solve a murder, and keep an entire town from believing that a quirky old woman has finally gone over the edge.
But even a witch's potion can't reach Clate's heart. That will take what only Piper can supply: her healing love, her determination, and her own boldly passionate heart.....
